The President called the Newbury Board of Education Public Input and Dialogue meeting to order with the following members present:  Mr. Blair, Mr. Munn, Mr. Sanders.  Mr. Douglas arrived late.  Mr. Gingerich was absent.

 

12-29   PUBLIC INPUT/ADJOURN

            Moved by Mr. Munn, second by Mr. Sanders, to approve the following:

            This public input and dialogue Board meeting shall be controlled by the presiding officer.    Any input cannot and shall not receive any Board action.  However, before the Board will

            hear a complaint or criticism about school personnel, the complaint must be submitted to

            the Treasurer, in writing, at least seven (7) days in advance of the meeting.  The

            employee will receive a copy of the complaint, and the process prescribed in Board

            Policy #9130, Public Complaints and Grievances, will be followed.

            Approve the minutes of the Budget Hearing and Reorganization Meeting and

            Regular Meeting of January 9 and the Work Session of January 23, 2012.

            Financial Statements for FY 2012 recognizing that the district will be assessed

            a fine of $750.00 by the Auditor of State.

            third quarter services at Geauga Academy during 2011-12 school year in the amount

            in the second quarter of the 2011-2012 school year in the amount of $6,894.55.
